Mini Houses/Urban Myth

The following pictures are PLAYhouses... yes for CHILDREN! Since I never had a playhouse growing up (still bitter) I thought houses like these were urban myths on the playground. 20 years later I find that they are REAL! A mini and not a mini

Okay, so it's not a mini, but way too bizarre NOT to post. Found a sonogram in a library book I was reading (Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishguro, FYI: kind of 'blah' of a read).
Does anyone know if I'm allowed to ask the library who has taken out this book so I can return this to it's rightful owner? The sonogram was about 2008 and I have the name of the mother on it.

Mini breakfast

Well not an actual mini breakfast, but an adorable (I think...) charm from Juicy. I have the gold charm bracelet and my boyfriend has been giving me charms for special occasions. I think this one will be 'charming' add for the next special celebration.

My favorite mini-fied fruit

A mini (and very sweet) mini strawberry. Thanks to Lexi and Mac who have a strawberry patch in their garden and their barn, and thanks to the horses' poop for making the 'berries so sweet!

If miniCourtney drove a minicar

A friend of mine brought to my attention (via Modern Marvels) there is a mini car (or micro car) museum in Georgia. After checking out the site, I think this is the one I'd drive. It reminds me of a bumper car, which I love!

This one also make me laugh .. it's a "camper"!

I really want to see someone get into one of these cars.

Okay, so I didn't see the movie yet but I knew I'd love it. Why? The entire set is MINI! I saw a sneak peek/ making of on HBO before the film came out in theaters and was in love (it doesn't hurt that Wes Anderson directed this movie,.. so I already have a soft spot for his films, thanks to my boyf.) Pictures from Kansas City's Toy and Miniture Museum

For about 9 months my boyfr. lived in Kansas City (for work reasons). Before a trip out there I did research on fun things we could do, places to visit, etc. I found the perfect place and a must see Kansas City's Toy and Miniature Museum. We had NO idea what were getting ourselves into, but of course I was very excited! A museum filled with my favorite obsession, and 3 floors of it! Needless to say lots of dollhouses and the fun things that go inside of them. Lots of the dollhouses were set-up so that a little story was being told. I was in HEAVEN!
Here are some (not all) of the pictures...

A scene outside of a dollhouse; little girl playing with a water pump/bucket, grandfather sleeping on the front porch, toys all around, details with flowers and plants and can you spy the airplane on the roof? Someone was playing with it earlier I guess and it got away!

Inside the same house; grandmother watching grandson preform magic, cat asleep on the chair hanger on the door... so many I can't even name!

Very cool, a miniature yarn shop ! Can you see all the tiny yarn spools that are on display?
